Even before an order is shipped, we spend money and effort preparing each order that is placed on our website. Should you need to cancel your order at any point after placing it online or over the phone with an associate, there will be a cost. Please make sure everything is accurate before finalizing your order online or with an associate over the phone if you wish to prevent further charges. When you place an online order or chat with a representative, you agree to pay all costs associated with changing or canceling your transaction. We regret having to make these adjustments, but doing so is required to continue offering our consumers cheap prices.
Please be aware that we might have to cancel certain orders since we are unable to accept them. For whatever reason, we reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to reject or cancel any order. Before approving an order, more details might be needed.
Firearm Online Purchase
All firearms must be shipped to an FFL dealer or local gun shop in your area. (FFL: Federal Firearms License.) It is the customer’s responsibility to contact their chosen dealer before purchasing any firearm from our website. This ensures your dealer is willing to transfer your firearm, the firearm is legal in your state, and they are willing to do compliance work if need be.
How To Arrange a Shipment and Transfer?
Kindly check “FFL Finder” to choose a dealer near you. If the dealer you want to use is not on the FFL Finder, please contact your dealer to send us their FFL license. When sending over an FFL license, please ensure you are including the customer’s name and order number and sending it to info@arsenalstores.com. As the customer, it is your responsibility to arrange your transfer with your dealer and verify that your chosen dealer will transfer the firearm to you. Upon checkout, if the FFL dealer you are looking for is not listed, please contact us.
Before You Accept the Transfer
ALL GUNS ARE NEW AND UNOPENED; WE DO NOT INSPECT THE FIREARMS BEFORE THEY ARE SHIPPED!
When picking up your firearm from your FFL, please ensure to inspect the product thoroughly. Confirm the product meets your standards and that there are no damages or defects. If you see a problem with your purchase, DO NOT ACCEPT TRANSFERS. We will gladly have the firearm shipped back to us at our expense and provide you with your choice of a replacement or full refund.
In the event that a customer is denied on their ATF Form 4473, the customer is responsible for a return shipping fee along with a restocking fee. See Returns for more information. Once you accept the transfer, the gun is considered used. For warranty repairs or replacements, please contact the manufacturer directly. Any firearm that you have accepted is non-returnable and non-refundable. All sales are final.
Buying Class III
It is not difficult, but patience is required. We have a staff member who will guide you through the entire procedure and try to make it as simple as possible.
There are three possible ways to register a Class III, and each method has its own pros and cons:
1. Register Class III to a trust
Advantages
- Anyone listed as a trustee in the trust can be in possession of the Class III item.
- A revocable trust can be changed at any time without notifying the ATF.
- No signature is required from the chief law-enforcement officer.
- No fingerprint cards are required.
- You only need to create the trust once. The same trust can be used for all future Class III items.Â
Disadvantages
- In some states, a trust needs to be registered with the state, although that is not a requirement in most cases.
- It is best for people with family members who want to share possession of the
- It is best for people who want to go together with friends on the purchase of a NFA item.
- It is best for people who want more flexibility in the long run.
- It is best for anyone planning on making multiple NFA purchases who wants to avoid the overhead of getting the CLEO signature and fingerprints each time.
2. Register the Class III to a corporation
Advantages
- When using a corporation, it’s possible to register using the new ATF e-Form system, which is a faster & more efficient way to submit paperwork.
- Any officer of the corporation can be in possession of the Class III item.
- If you already have a corporation, this can be easier than a trust since you will avoid the initial trust setup.
- No signature is required from the chief law-enforcement officer.
- No fingerprint cards are required.
Disadvantages
- You need to keep your corporation in good standing, which can be more work than a trust (which is basically a “create it and forget about it” process in most cases.)
- It is best for anyone who already owns a corporation and wants that corporation to act as the owner of the Class III item.
- It is best for anyone planning on making multiple NFA purchases who wants to avoid the overhead of getting the CLEO signature and fingerprints each time.
3. Register the Class III in your own name
Advantages
- You can avoid the initial work required to set up a trust or corporation.
Disadvantages
- As of now, individuals are unable to submit paperwork using the new ATF e-Form system.
- Only you can be in possession of Class III (although other people can still use it if you’re with them.)
- It requires a signature from the chief law enforcement officer where you live.
- Requires a fingerprint card.
- It’s best for people who don’t plan to buy a lot of NFA items.
- It is best for people who just want to get the buying process started.
- It is best for people who always plan to be present when the Class III item is in use.
The process of actually buying the item online is similar to buying something from Amazon.com or any other online retailer, with only one major difference:
You won’t be able to take possession of the item until the transfer has been approved by the NFA Branch. You can check out wait times at nfatracker.com, but most NFA owners will agree that it’s well worth the wait!
Shipping
Adult signatures (at least 21 years old) are required for the shipment of all ammunition orders.
Ammunition must ship to an FFL dealer in CA, MA, and Nassau Co., Bronx, Kings, Queens, Richmond, and New York, NY.
Accessories orders over $250.00 are shipped with a signature requirement along with proof of address on file.
State Compliance
It is entirely your responsibility as the buyer to be aware of the regulations and limitations in your state. Before placing a purchase with us, you must be sure your FFL dealer will handle any necessary modifications to the firearm to guarantee it complies with your state’s standards. Should a firearm be delivered to a state where it is illegal, the buyer bears the responsibility for both the return shipping and the restocking charge.
For In-Store pick-up orders
Allow 24 hours for your order to be ready for pickup. All in-store pickup orders must be picked up within 1 week of placing the order. Any in-store pickup orders that have not been picked up within 1 week of placing an order will be cancelled and subject to a cancellation fee.
